Description
Gentle Helen has had little contact with the glittering world of London society. On the other hand, Rhys Winterborne, a wealthy but common-born tycoon, is ambitious, ruthless, and cynical about society. After meeting Helen, Rhys is determined to have her, and will do anything to ensure that she marries him. Helen does, but underneath her shy exterior is a stubborn conviction that only she can tame her unruly husband. As Rhys's enemies conspire against him, Helen must trust him with her darkest secret. The risks are unthinkable, but the reward is a lifetime of incomparable bliss, if only they can work together to overcome the forces ranged against them.
